Criteria for holidays_eea family

Post by dealm » Mon Sep 07, 2009 8:03 pm

Hi, I am working in UK since 3 yrs and I am planning to get a vacation of approximately 3 months for my marriage. For applying eea family permit visa for my wife after 3 months of holidays, will this be creating any problem?

First, what national are you ?

Second, what national is your wife ?

Then you will get the infos on visa procedures which I will like to inform you that it wont be so smooth. (ALOT OF DOCUMENTS IS REQUIRED)

So you intend to get married in India ?

If thats the case, once you are married...you will apply for the EEA Family Permit in India which is free of charge with all the requested documents. I hope you have enough proves of your relationship b4 getting married plus prove you lived together for minimum 2 yrs (like your both names in house contract or bills)...this is the main thing.

I don't see any problem if you meet the requirements, you can just "spy" by calling the embassy in India to ask.
