Stamp 4- Marrying a UK citizen

Post by hydireland » Tue Sep 08, 2009 7:49 pm

Hi all,

I would like to congratulate the moderators of this website as they have maintained it to perfection, this is a place where you get loads of information.

I would appreciate if somebody can help me with my doubt and suggest me something better.

I am student here in Ireland since 2006 & pursuing my higher studies. I am an Indian national and my partner is British National. I just want to know if we both want to stay here, can i change my visa status from stamp 2 to stamp 4. Will that be a dependent visa for me, as my fiance is a EU/EEA citizen. Does she have to take employment for me to get a dependent visa or can i apply for dependent visa even if she is not working.

I would appreciate if somebody can get me correct information abt this or provide me any source of information.

thanks,

mak
