Right to work

Post by xplosiv » Mon Sep 14, 2009 11:19 pm

My PSW transition from IGS is currently under appeal (maintenance), was wondering if I'm still allowed to work and if so how do I prove to my employer that I am?

Thanks.

You should still have a right to work if you applied before your leave ran out.

The service can also help employers to check an applicant's right to work if he/she is unable to provide full documentation because he/she has an outstanding application or appeal with us.

thanks.
The applicant should contact the UK Border Agency if clarification of their status is required.
Do I call them? They're a mean bunch of bastards - hate speaking to them on the phone.

No, your employer should fill in the form using the link I gave and fax it to the UK Border Agency, or they could read Vinny's links.
