Registering a marriage in Poland

Post by Mr.wilson » Tue Sep 15, 2009 7:43 pm

I am a Canadian citizen and my wife is Polish. We were married in Canada this year. How does she register her marriage with the Polish government?

Are you still living in Canada?
Don't know for Poland exactly, but I would go to the Polish embassy and see if you can get your marriage certificate translated and registered in Poland, in the place of her recidence there.
That's how the Czech embassy is doing anyway!

Thank you for the advice. I was able to find out a way of doing it through the local Polish embassy here in Toronto. It's pretty straight forward.
