She can apply under the MBA provision of the program provided that the MBA program she undertook is included in the approved school program list provided by the HO.

You can check this link: http://www.hm-treasury.gov.uk/pre_budge ... _admba.cfm

Does EMBA accepted in MBA provision?

Thanks Markie. Cass Business school is in that 50 list(City University UK). What I want to know is whether EMBA(Executive MBA) is accepted in MBA provision program? Does any one have experience?

Thanks.

I thought an EMBA for any program was merely a compressed version of specific topics suited for executives who cannot be present in the classroom and therefore would not equate to a "full" MBA. You should email the HSMP team or call them for clarification.

An EMBA or a distance leaning MBA or part-time or a full time MBA should be the same. These have the same curricula/course topics. The EMBA was tailored-fit to executives which do not have ample time to attend classes in school.

sorry if I seem annoyed by this, but I busted my mule for 2 years full time in school and worked and they wont give me the 25 points for a masters (different undergraduate degree) yet someone who does an EMBA or a distance learning MBA gets the full 65 points just because its from a school on the list?! Try explaining this to JhonnyECU too- they wont give him points for HIS masters either!

I know life isnt fair, but this is complete crap.

Sorry for that Amhilde. Sometimes life is really unfair.

The MBA provision of the HSMP prefers the 50 top schools identified in the list. I do believe that there will a be on-going review of the schools in the list. Fingers crossed!
