Pregnant Girlfriend

Post by wattie2hotty » Sun Sep 27, 2009 10:36 am

I am a UK citizen and I have my Filppina girlfiend here on a 6 month visitor visa. She is now pregnant with my child and I would like her to have y baby here, is this possible?

I don't think so.

And if she stays illegally to have the baby here then you might have a rather expensive bill from the NHS for it.

Very correct, plus the possibility of future spouse/fiancée visa refusal for illegally using the NHS when not entitled.

Budget £2k for a simple birth, £15 for a complex one.

One way it would be possible is for her to return to the Philippines and appy for a fiancee visa. You would then have to get married within 6 months.

Luckily the Embassy in Manila seems to be given out fiancee/spouse visas very quickly at the moment (some literally the same day).
