EAA2 visa: end of relationship

Hi,

I am from the Netherlands and residing in the UK. I had a girlfriend who succesfully applied for a EEA2 visa, a unmarried partner visa, depending on me as a European citizen.

Now the relationship ended and the girl went back to her homecountry. She won't go back to the UK and will not make use of the VISA, but do I have to notify the homeoffice about this or can I just leave it like it is.

The reason I am asking this, is that I don't want any problems for the future, if let say I end up in the future with another request for the homeoffice. Thanks for your reply in advance.

Infact your ex partner should have informed UKBA about the change in circumstances before she left! The covering letter that comes with the EEA2 Residence Card specifically states this. At least she would be covered, in case of wanting to return to UK under different circumstances. Anyway, I guess it's not really a big deal...
But you do right by you, and inform UKBA.

Thanks for the answers. I have contacted the UKBA on UKBAeuropeanenquiries@ukba.gsi.gov.uk via e-mail, to see how I need to notify them about this. I hope I will get an answer soon. Thanks again, you were a great help.
