Doubt regarding Pay stubs for Salary Proof

Post by vijaykrishna2005 » Mon Sep 28, 2009 4:44 pm

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for UK General Tier1 visa previously HSMP in the month of Jan 2010. I have a quick question regarding my pay stubs. I have been working from past 1 year in an IT company where i get my pay slips through my email. So while applying for HSMP do i need to take a print out of all those pay stubs and got it stamped and signed by my employer. Any help or advice will be highly appreciated.

Yes, it MUST be signed and stamped by your employer. Page 25 of 49, clause 141, i) of guidance

See the Tier 1 (General) Policy Guidance page 25 of 49
Payslips: These should be either formal i) payslips or on company headed paper. Where formal payslips are produced on plain paper they must be stamped and signed by the employer. Payslips which are not on headed paper or the applicant receives all pay slips online, he/she must authenticate the evidence by asking the employer to sign and stamp a printout. If the applicant provides payslips, they must cover the whole period claimed (for example, if payslips are produced monthly, the applicant must provide the payslip for each month of the period claimed).
Alternatively, you can ask your employer to issue you a letter confirming your Gross and Net Pay for all dates that you are claiming. This needs to be on their letterhead.

Hi,

I really appreciate your response. But i want to share one more thing as my employer use to send my pay stubs for every month through postal service. I lost few of my original pay stubs....so what i am planning is to request my employer to send my lost pay stubs through email so i can get a print out of them which i have lost and apply for HSMP with all the 1 year pay stubs.

So my question is if i submit some original pay stubs and some pay stubs which are printed (lost pay stubs) will there be any problem?? Waiting for your esteemed response.

There is no problem if two different payslips look different to each other.

I think it may create doubt. If you have lost some payslips then go for letter from employer as cheshiregoan has suggested. http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... ht=#291187
