Declaring Convictions (ILR and Naturalisation)

Post by melo75 » Tue Sep 29, 2009 6:24 am

What is the difference between "declare" and "give details"? I had a speeding ticket fine that I challenged in court (but lost) in the USA 8 years ago. Do I have to tick the "YES" box when it asks if I ever had a conviction? (declare), but then dont give details? Or do I tick "YES" and give details (which I dont remember now after all those years)? Or do I tick "NO"?
