registration section1(3) or 3(1)

hi
i have just been naturalised as a british citizen.
i have a child born in the Uk illegitimetly in 2005.
i would like to register him as a british citizen but under which section shall i register him as british?

My uncle have sent his son's application last week under 1 (3). Nearly same case as yours. You can have a look at my old thread. or PM me if you may have any queries.

your uncle story its exactly as mine. so can you please update me on his application outcome so i will just follow his route.
the thing is that i will have 2 passport british + my home country.
that's why i was confused about section1(3) or 3(1).

I will do mate. In the mean time can you please confirm if your name was added as father on child's birth certificate at the time of his/her birth registration. So I can guide you to next step.

Ok download form mn1 get it filled. there are guidelines also available at home office website. Speak to your baby's GP first thing tomorrow if they are happy to act as referee. In the mean time get a NCS appointment. If you need any help with your MN1 form give me shout. Your baby is going to be registered as british under 1(3).

i have got the form ready will be filling it over the weekend i will be waiting for the outcome of your uncle before lodging mine just to be on safe side money wise for the referee i will speak to his nursery teacher today.
