Advice please

Post by juliajules1979 » Sat Oct 03, 2009 4:44 pm

Hiya

My husband and I lived in Iran for 1 year and 2 months prior to applying for a settlement visa to come to the UK. We have lived here now for almost 8 months. Id there any way that we can submit an ILR application early. We have house deeds from a property in Iran that we bought in June 2008.

Please could somebody give some advice.

Thankyou

Unfortunately not. He would have to finish the probationary period and pass his life in the UK test, in order to qualify.

The only way time spent outside the UK would have counted, is if you lived outside the UK as married couple or cohabiting partners, for a period of four years.

Hiya

Thanks for your reply. We have been married for 6 and a half years and lived in the UK prior to going out to live in Iran for a year and 2 months. Now we have been in the UK for 8 months. So none of that previous time together counts, only the time now that we are spending together in the UK during the probationary period?

Thanks for your help.
