Help in VAF1B form ? Enough available funds ? Relatives ??

Hello all
I work in UK (annual income £30k) + indefinite leave to remain + own my house.We are expecting our first baby in March 2010. We want my mother to visit us to be with us at this joyous occasion. My mother lives in Pakistan and is a Pakistani National. I want to apply for a visit visa for her for 6 months (Dec 09 – May 2010).The form to be used is VAF1B as per http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk.

Can you please help me with following questions regarding Part 5 and 8 of this form?

Part 5 Finances and Employment,

My mother is a house wife and doesnt have any income of her own as such. Should we mention that in Section 5.10 , 5.12 and 5.13? Should we just mention household income in section 5.11?What proof should we give of joint family income ( which is a mixture of my remittance + rental property income in PK + stock income of my father + pay of my brother)

I am sponsoring her visit.She will stay at our home in UK.Is 6000 pounds enough funds for her trip for 6 months.
Those 6,000 available fund is in my current account(£3000) and credit card(£6000)? Is that ok ?


Part 8 (8.10 & 8.11).
We do have close relatives in UK. But she doesn’t intend to visit them due to some family issues. They don’t get on with each other!
Do we still fill in their details in 8.11?

5.11:Yes I received money XX XXX from my son resident in UK.

5.12:

Yes you can give your father bank statments or rent ot profit.

Well credit card is risky.Why you can not put money from your credit card to your bank statement.£3000 is not enough.

Write only close relatives like you and your family.Or your brothers or sisters.No need for other relatives
