Can PHD Degree used for English Requirement

Hi,

In point calculator i enter PHD degree / college information and Point Based Calculator recognised it and gave 10 points for English Assessment. but i wanted to confirm if it is fine? coz i know you cannot show just master's for english requirement?

So basically i am showing both Education and English requirement as just PHD degree and as mentioned college / degree is present in PBS.

Please advice.

If your PhD degree gives you English language points in PBS calculator you do not need any additional proof. Only this degree is enough for securing 10 points in English language requirement section.

188. Where the degree was taken in another country we will always assess it using the points based calculator on our website. The calculator contains information from UK NARIC on whether overseas qualifications are equivalent to United Kingdom Bachelors level or higher.

You would be claiming 50 points for education for your PhD, you do not need to submit your masters degree.

So basically i am showing both Education and English requirement as just PHD degree and as mentioned college / degree is present in PBS.

That is absolutely fine.
