whose original birth certificate to bring to visa interview

Post by miamia » Wed Oct 07, 2009 9:34 am

Hi all

I hope somebody may be able to help. We have our visa immigration interview next week and on going through the compiled documents again we are now wondering if we need both original birth certificates for myself (the applicant) and my US husband the petitioner?

At the moment I only have the original of my birth certificate and a photocopy of his. I will have to see if I can get his original sent over from the US in time.

I would really appreciate it if somebody can get back to me as soon as possible it has only been on re-reading that we have realised the checklist and how it has been written could be interpreted differently!!

Best wishes

miamia
