UK Tier1 Job Type/Salary criteria

Post by krishna1215 » Sat Oct 10, 2009 7:34 pm

Hi all,
what r the kinds of jobs we can do in UK on UK tier 1 migrant visa?
Is there any minimum salary restriction per annum.

I am in IT since 11 years and incase I dont secure one, I have to switch into something else.

What are the chances for us to get one being a non-european. I would be planning to get there in Jan-Feb 2010.

I suppose Visa is issued for 3 years. So can one go after 1 yr from the date of visa stamping. Is there any kind of a rule for this

Please share your experiences . It would be greatly helpful to plan ahead.

Thanks a lot.

You should think about minimum salary restriction per annum at the end of second year of your visa, to prepare points for extension in the coming year.

Yes, visa will be issued for three years. You can go anytime before your visa expiry date.
