ILR HSMP JR - Backdated letter

Hi Guys....

Have a question. I am applying for ILR under HSMP JR shortly.

My initial HSMP approval letter is dated - 13th April 2005
My HSMP stamping was done on the 23rd May 2005.

The initial HSMP application was an in country application as I came to the UK in 2002 as a student and after completing my Masters, I was on the SEGS scheme before switching to HSMP.

My question is "Am I eligible to get a backdated ILR" i.e., starting from the 13th April 2009?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Your ILR would be backdated to 23rd May 2009. The date on the visa stamp was when you started to have HSMP status. So the 4 year count started then (not the approval letter).
