Just got my approval today! Thanks for all the advice. My visa was processed in record time, 1 day!

Documents sent on: October 8th
Received and application opened: October 13th
Approval notice received and documents sent: October 14th

Congratulations!!
Mostly outside UK Tier 1 applications (in Europe, America, Australia, and some Far East countries) are processed very fast. 13 and 14 are two working days, which is common: For instance see Ireland
