Does the ECO request that apllicants for EC attend a medical examination? If so can anyone give the cost.

I believe that in absence of a XRAY at port of entry (airport) you may be requested to do one on-site (airport)!

PAPA,

In my case EC advised for medical examination and asked to keep chest x-ray in hand luggage, but at airport nobody asked for x-ray.

for my spouse EC not even asked to go for medical examination.

But in safer side, better to do medical examination and keep the records in hand luggage.

They will advise. Generally Chest X-ray, Blood test etc. Normally EC gate will be having list of Hospitals/Labs where to carry out tests.
