Hi guys

Can someone tell me if this is the latest list of defination of Public fund>

Definition : Public Funds

I came in Nov 2003 i.e. mid of the tax year. After doing a lot of reading I understood that since I came in the mid of the year I am eligible for Tax Refund. Would anyone be able to tell me


Am I still eligible to claim tax refund.?

What documents and for how long do I need to submit for tax refund?

Would this be a problem for my ILR application in future.?

Is there any link for list of benefits a WP holder can use benefit which I might be missing out?

Chris, suspect that this is nothing at all to do with Public Funds. It is simply the case that you might have paid too much income tax, and if that is the case, you can certainly apply to get back any overpayment.

Contact your tax office and ask them about this. You don't know which is your tax office? Ask your employer for the contact details.

You are certainly not too late to get back any overpayment. There is a time limit of nearly six years. For the tax year which ended 5th April 2004 the time limit for applying to get back any overpaid tax is 31st January 2010.

They will add some interest because of the delay in refunding you.
