Sponser application turn around time

Post by jwalker12 » Wed Oct 21, 2009 5:10 pm

Hi all

I have a quick question that I hope someone can help me with: my company has applied to become a Sponser, does anybody know how long it takes the Home Office to work through these applications and grant a license to my company?

Thanks

John

I am going to get employed by a company in a few months time, however the company started 3-4 months ago and a small company(less than 10 employees). So they have to first get the license for sponsoring. Do they have to advertise for the post at the same time or the advertising needs to be done before they apply for license? Also for a software developer what is the minimum time for advertisement? Assuming they get the license, is there a chance the home office will reject my application for Tier2 since its a small company? Sorry for asking these questions, as I am concerned about rejection and then should look for job else where.
