The spouse needs to apply for an EEA Family Permit from the British Consulate of the country where she currently resides (it is free of charge, and given priority processing). Then when she gets to UK, she may apply for a UK Residence Card for Family Members (again free, but can take well over six months) on Form EEA2.aziznaim wrote:hi

Why are you sending them bank account information? You do not need to prove anything about finances if you are working.direct_112 wrote:I have question regarding my bank statement. I have 2 accounts with 1 bank.
1 account is saving account were I have just put a large sum of money in ( about 4k).
The other account is current accounts were my salaries come in and all my bills go out. I will send both of them as proof of my finance.
Will they ask questions about the large money just coming suddenly while before I only have small money in my saving (between 500-1000?)
Are you working? If so then financial indepence is not relevant.direct_112 wrote:I though bank statement was important. How else would they know your financial independency? Just to make sure we talking about the same thing. I am talking about EEA family permit. I am trying to get my wife to UK. She is in Ethiopia at the moment.
