Hi

I applied for a post study worker status on the 17th September and the money was debited from my account on the same day.

Since then I haven't received a letter from the HO acknowledging my application or giving me a reference number.

Is this normal?

u shd receive reference no within 3-5 working days, if not, then i think u should contact HO, as u filed in Sep and its too late, u shd have ref no. now because money has already debited fm ur a/c.
