a week short? please help....

Post by hope2010 » Wed Nov 04, 2009 8:47 am

Hello to everyone, I'm working as a nurse under a 5 years WP.
Here's my situation, my visa is valid from June 13 2005 - June 13 2010.
Date of first enter in the UK: June 20 2005. So it means that I will not be able to complete the whole 5 years because of 1 week short and
I'm worried about my situation.
Where do I stand? Do I qualify for ILR?
Please help and Thank you very much..

Given that you can make your ILR application any time from 28 days prior to the completion of your 5 years, you are actually worrying totally unnecessarily.

Have you already passed the Life in the UK Citizenship test? Or have you still got that "pleasure" to come?

Thanks John, I feel better now! Maybe i'm just being paranoid because of all those changes they have made for the last couple of years. Actually, my test is not until next month, so I still have the "pleasure".
Thanks again John.
