ILR stamped - require change in last name

ILR stamped - require change in last name

Hi there,

Thanks to the ILR team. I have fianlly received my passport back, stamped with ILR (PR). Great news !!! :)

However, when I sent my application earlier I had sent my marriage certificate and also covering letter stating the change in name and to issue under my new name but ILR was still issued with the old name.

Anyone to tell me how to go about this and who to contact please.

Kindly appreciate a quick reply.

just a question the passport that you sent, is that in your new name?

The "passport name page" is under old name. However, it has another page which shows proof of name change.

it may be better to first get a passport with the new name, then apply for transfer of stamp
