small worry on finace visa

Post by andyb123 » Fri Nov 13, 2009 11:47 am

My self and my fiance have submitted an application for a finace visa... we were hoping to have been married already but on my last trip to see her some plans fell through and so instead of submitting the Spouse visa application we went ahead and applied for a Fiance visa with the plan to get married in the UK later.

In the pack i put together for our Spouse visa, i included a job offer from my current company as I thought it would help show being able to support ourselves without recourse to public funds... now, on a fiance visa she can't work until after we are married and we apply for FLR(M). Does anyone know if it will cause a problem that I've included an offer of work in with a Fiance Visa application?

The ECO should just disregard it. Without your fiance being able to take employment immediately, have you been able to show that you can support her financially?

thanks, wasn't sure if saying "I'm going to work" when applying for a visa where you can't work would cause problems

I've included 6 months payslips @ £1600 take home a month, with £0 on accommodation (as I've moved back in to my parents until my fiance gets here, and then when I don't have bi-monthly flights to Vietnam to pay for I can actually get a mortgage...)
