Confusing status of my pettition

Confusing status of my pettition

Hello everyone, I wondering if you could help me analyse my present situation. I live here at the Philippines. 27y/o, When she visit me here last year we planned to get married thru civil marriage after 2months she came back to the US. We have now a beautiful baby with her at Maryland.
I'am just want to understand some information such as,how long it will take to process the petition papers (according to her we have a lawyer who will process such pettition). And is it right that I dont have papers to be filled up here at US embassy until they approved the Pettition.

Your post is not very clear and lacks important information. Who is the USC? Are you married? When and where was the petition filed? Is this an adjustment of status or consular processing? Processing will start when the petition is approved. Other tasks such as obtaining police certificates may commence earlier.
