permanent resident permit

Hi everyone,

I would like to get some information about permanent uk residency. I have been married to an eea national sicne 2004 and I have had my residence permit since 2006. My wife has just received her permanent residency and I would like to apply for mine. Can I apply for it now or do I have to wait until my residence permit expires( in 2011)?
