PSW help needed

Post by echoterm » Fri Nov 27, 2009 10:17 pm

Hi, I need some help with my pending PSW initial application.
I sent my application for PSW visa last week and got my confirmation of receipt on 25th Nov.

The problem is that I couldn't manage to receive my bank statements for 3 consecutive months at the time of applying so I sent in my statements from:
21Aug - 9th November

As my current student visa expires on 30th November so I didn't want to send it too late. The amounts on those statements did fall below £800, I also didn't realize I had to send the statements for every single day so I only sent the first pages of the statements.

So when I received the latest statements yesterday from the bank I sent them to HO at Croydon with a cover letter stating my reference No, as on UKBA website it stated that I could send additional information while the application is being considered. The statements however cover from:
27th Aug - 27th November

with 5 days falling below £800, but I also sent an original letter from bank stating my overdraft limit which covers the shortfall. So in theory I have £800 funds for 3 months at all times.

Will the HO consider the later statements as they were sent before the decision is made? Will the overdraft be accepted?

My statements from 21Aug - 9Nov don't cover £800,
but those from 27th Aug - 27th Nov do with the overdraft.

If I get a refusal, will I stand a chance of getting an appeal? I've been studying here since 2001 and I have a very good immigration record, never been in trouble before, it's my first time of PSW.
I'm really worried now, please advise, Thanks!

My dear you dont have chance to get visa. I have three friends who got same problems. even one of them statement went out for 5 pound only for three days. he got refusal. he went back to Pakistan and got visa from there

I advise is please maintain your account from your back home so when you get refusal you have less for waiting...............
