pm's not working

Recently I have tried to use pm's but they dont seem to work. In the past they use to but not anymore. Tried to pm a Administrator to help rectify the problem, but pm still didnt go.

how can this problem be solved?

Do be aware that if the inbox of the person you are sending a PM to is full, well it won't get through. Might that be the problem?

Just mrlookforward and boulevardofbrokendreams please, both send me a PM, and let's see if it gets through.

I have now cleared my inbox, so lets see if I will get messages in future. One strange thing I noticed is that the message I sent you has gone into "outbox". It should go in the "sentbox.

No, that is not the way it works. When you first send a PM it goes into the outbox, and then when the person reads it, it moves from outbox to sentbox. That way you can see if the person has actually read the PM you have sent.

mrlookforward, are you saying you have sent me a PM? And you can still see it sitting in your outbox? If so, that is a problem, because I don't see that PM in my inbox. Whereas I did get a PM from boulevardofbrokendreams, and replied to that.

Indeed, and I can now see that you have read the PM I sent you yesterday. Whereas say 20 minutes ago, you hadn't read it.
