Hi !

Please help me !!
Recently my company got a level 1 sposorship licence which they have assigned to me, as the designee of the certificate of sponsorship. My job is in the shortage Occupation list, but I am only earning £18,900 and my company stipulated my gross as £18,900, but with prospective earnings of £30,000 in the next few years.

My question is; the home office have stipulated a higher approximate earnings, the shortfall shall be roughly 5%, will they still happy to accept my application and grant the visa ?
Although the salary is slightly below their criteria, will they show more concern for fact that this is a shortage occupation and award the 50 points to fast track my application?

I have been with this company for last 13 months and they are keen to retain me, but have little experience in this kind of documentation, therefor any help or advice shall be greatly appreciated

Thank you,
Sampath

My understanding is that if your salary and benefits package falls below that listed in the relevant Code of Practice they must refuse your application, regardless of whether it's a shortage occupation.

Ok Thank you..

And I found another way: (Post Study Worker)

As I am under Fresh Talent Scheme Visa (I am graduated in UK) and I am working with the same company from last 13 months so I have read in the Home office website that Fresh Talent Scheme workers can easily extend visa to work permit to stay in the same job and they can award 30 points with the sponsorship certificate.

And my company is showing prospective earnings as £30,000 (20points)
And my Masters Degree = 10 points
English language Test = 10
Maintanence funds = 10
Which makes me to score 30+20+10+10+10= 80points

Here is the website:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/emplo ... arkettest/

My Question:
1) Can I get visa in this way ?
2) In this case what he has to mention on the Certificate of Sponsorship? (like instead of Shortage occupation list that I am a post study worker)

I hope in this way I can score points ?

Sory if I am troubling you (coz my interview is on 18th of this month)

Thank you very much for ur help...
