I am amazed though, that they were quick enough to deduct my application fees and send me the acknowledgement letter the next day when they received it.
I am in a very critical time situation as you, and in my case I will lose my employment offer if I don't hear anything before Christmas. I don't know what to do and I don't know how to get an update!
Do you have any suggestions as to what can be done?

Just spent more than 40 mins on the phone waiting to get through to someone on the inquiry line, explained them my whole case, literally pleaded to give me some clues as to where my documents are. But no, nothing could move the person on the other side, he never gave me any information other than saying what was already there on the website.david1955 wrote:Hi Djzack, djzack wrote:I guess I am the same as you david1955, I've applied for my extension from within the UK on the 12th November and haven't had any reply whatsover.david1955 wrote:Hi i applied for my visa from united kingdom.agaurav009 wrote:I got intimation of my visa approval in 2.5 weeks and received my passport in 3+2/7 weeks. Why dont you call homeoffice and tell your situation..and tell them u will loose your job. Ask them to treat your application urgently and will be fine paying anything extra for the urgent application..
try this and see wat happens
