Does my doughter need a new greencard please advise please..

Hi,
Ive looked all over the net for several years now here is my problem if there is one..

My wife and her doughter came into the usa at the same time we did all the imigration and interview paid alot of money and they both got there 2 year grean cards and ss nuber and everything.After the 2 year was up i paid the fee needed and they sent my wife a 10 year greancard but not my doughter that came into the country with her.WE called imagration and they just told us she didnt need one and ate that time we just left it at that.Its been 6 years now since i brought them into the usa exsept now my doughter dont have a green card and her passport has run out and her green card has expired the 2 year one she first had and we wont to go to the uk were they are from to visit famely but we cant because my doughter green card is expired yet thy siad she didnt need one anyone can tell me why and what do i do she need something to go out the country all she has is a ss nuber and a expired green card the first green card and as i siad we called and they insisted that she did not need one.can someone please help any info would be a blessing because i dont know what to do.How can my wife have a 10 year grean card and her doughter witch we filed both ate the same time not.WE went to interviews and they know they came togeather and i have done everything and paid everything they siad.It dont make since when my wife and her 2 year green card was due they sent renew paperwork i payed and did what they ask ive piad all kinda stuff on my doughter but after the first green card we never got anything else nor have they contacted us ever.So we figure she is leagle on my wifes but now that we need to take a trip we dont know what to do.She been in school 5 years here now and has a ss nuber please avise us what we need to do.thanks.....

Find a good immigration attorney - she absolutely should have received a 10 year green card.

Need to find out what happened to the petition to remove conditions (I-751) and that may need to be reopened.

DO NOT leave the USA while this is in progress.

No i wont take her anywere i thought something was weard just did not make since they made the missake not me because ive done everything they have siad and its been 6 dam years now she has had a ss card for a long time and her mom my wife got her 10 year when we had to renew them we went to renew them both from there 2 year to there 10 year but they did not send my doughters and told us that she did not need one so we beleived them and did not question them we had ask several times and got the same answer so i guess soon we will have to do something she is went to school here for 6 years now and hell more american then i am lol.But ok any other info please let me know.This is really carzy my wife got hers yet her doughter did not weard...
