Unique issues for submitting ILR for SET(O) - need it urgent

Post by ukperson » Tue Dec 08, 2009 5:24 pm

Hi

I have been looking for some specific information on ILR with WP scheme i.e. SET (O) - on different sites, but ultimately I found this site having lot of knowledgable answers and solved many of the individual problems. Hope I get enough information for my queries below from the seniors. Hello gurus, please help me.

1) During last five years work permit was extend 3 times. Will there be any issue, if there is no income for 2 months within the last 5 years?

2) Since I was shifting places in UK, the most recent work permit was lost somewhere. However I have the scanned copy. Will it be an issue, if the scanned copy of work permit is submitted with ILR?

3) Though the online ILR appointment was booked including dependants, should they need to be present along with the main applicant at PEO office?

4) Do we need to carry all the 5 years bank statements?

5) I have received soft copies (electronic copies) of my P60s from my previous employer. I could not get the originals. It looks like my employer has used an PDF converter evaluation copy; due to which one of the P60s has this wordigs shown diagonally. Is it going to be an issue?

Thanks guys.

i will try to answer some of your question

I dont there will an issue with no income for the 2 months of no pay especially if they are not in the last 3 months. cause if you dont tell them they probably wont find out and even if they do it shouldnt really matter.

A scanned copy of your WP should be fine, its a document that THEY generated so they can verify it easily if they wanted

your dependents DONT need to attend

You do not need to carry all bank statements, if you have them you could carry them just in case, but i would concentrate with the last 3 months or maybe a year.

Will try to answer your questions based on my recently approval.

1. No that doesn't matter. Just try to keep bankstatements+payslips of past 12 months though only 3-6 months is required.

2. That is fine. If you have continuity of work permit i.e. without break, it is fine. They can very easily verify this from there system.

3.No. Depenedents need to be present. You can represent them since you are main applicant.

4. No. Last 1 year is fine.

5. You need original P60. Ask your employer for the same. He is obliged to provide you original copy.Alternatively, you can also get it from HMRC, i guess.

Hello,

IF you are not taking your dependents with you then you should have a signed letter from them stating that you are given permission to take their passport for further stamping.

Thanks for sending reply for my queries. However I have been requesting my old Employer since last 3 weeks to send my first 4 years original P60s. They have sent me a black & white scanned copies through email and they say that these are widely accepted. They also mentioned that their accounting consultant will need to request the old P60 copies from HMRC, if at all they get these copies, they will be able to send me the originals. They also said "no" to my other request for putting a stamp and seal on the scanned P60 copies. This is my current status.

Please let me know, what can be done in this situation. Should I write any covering letter to say that "my Employer could not get the originals, so I have printed the scanned copies for ILR purpose"?

Please give me suggestions on submitting the scanned P60s for ILR. Thanks in advance.
