OVERSTAYER wanting to go back Freely.

Post by KNelson » Tue Dec 29, 2009 11:49 pm

Right, sticky situation here.
My Friend came to the UK on Holiday Visa from Zimbabwe when he was 13 in 2004.He overstayed and has been living in Scotland with Legal Aunt/Uncle Citizens and Attend Full High School as an illegal immigrant. He also attended College for a year but now Wishes to go back.during that time he has opened a bank account and had access to Local medical HealthCare.

But what i am not sure is weather it is possible for him to leave
Britain and return to Zimbabwe with without too much fuss??

Would it be possible for him to Leave Britain and Return to Zimbabwe with his Qualifications and even possesions provided he funds his own trip??

Is it True that in this situation he faces Jail in the Same prison as Murderers,Cannibals & Scuicide Bombers??

Thanks.

Will his Qualifications be Stripped or "nullified" if Found out??

He will be ok if he returns voluntarily.
He will not be detained as he is leaving the country and his qualifications will be unaffected

Certainly overstaying can affect your re-entry plans .
Bans range from 1 to 10 years
If you leave voluntarily then maximum ban is 1 year
If you leave screaming and kicking normally known as enforced removal you are looking at a 10 year ban
If you leave voluntarily you have to buy your ticket, the Goverment will pay for your ticket if your removal is enforced
