Earning Query Please guide...Tier 1 Extension

Hi All,

I have an urgent query in the regards to previous earning... I will be applying for Tier(1) extension in Mid jan..

I get paid weekly every friday and planning to claim the earnings from jan 2009 to dec 2009.

For my weekly earning from 21st Dec 2008 to 27 Dec 2008 i got paid on the 2nd Jan 2009 and for 20 Dec 2009 to 26 Dec 2009 i am getting paid on 31st Dec...

My Question is can i claim earning from 2nd Jan 2009 to 31 Dec 2009 as its falling in the same year. Or how should i go about it.

Please need u r valuable advice..

Just understand that for Earnings points to be claimed.. you need to make sure you are claiming those 12months Earnings PERIOD falls in your choosen/mentioned 12months.. it is not when you are paid..

so 21st Dec 2008 to 20 Dec 2009 will be your earnings period as per your example..

but not to confuse you... you can also claim points for thsoe earnings which is paid in advance in this period.. like bonus etc..

u have to follow one line that period for which u r claiming

if period is Jan9 to Dec 09 than pay for this period payments r considered

so u cant claim for 21/12/08 TO 31/12/08 salary paid in Jan09

u can claim out standing salary of period 21/12/09 to 31/12/09 which will be paid in Jan 10
