No you need a PR permit from Portugal before pitching a tent in Holland. Otherwise it is like you are coming from India to live there with the need for a MVV and the need to apply for a resident permit. Your gf can apply for a partnership visa go to IND. nl and figure out what situation best applies to your situation

I have no idea. You do not provide sufficient details.
The visa is explained on the ind website.

If you are in a durable relationship (how long have you been together?) with your girlfriend you may be able to live and work in the Netherlands as an extended family member of a EU citizen (Directive 2004/38/EC). What is the nationality of your girlfriend and what is she doing in Portugal?

You didn't need a visa to enter NL because you have a residence permit which acts like a short term visit visa respective to other Schengen countries. To work you would need, however, a Dutch work permit or a long term residency permit issued under Directive 2003/109/EC from Portugal (assuming that both Portugal and the Netherlands fully comply with the Directive). Both routes will probably depend on worker quotas in NL.

help

Post by ngurvilu » Tue Jan 05, 2010 10:44 am

weve been together for more than one year, but she is currently not living in portugal, we are visiting each other. everytime. and we are not married either, so how we can prove that we ve been living together in portugal? is it complicated to do this in holland? we are both 24 years old. and we really want to move to holland next year. do i have to find a job before i go there. and what willl happen to my portugese residence permit? do i have to cancell it when i apply for the dutch residence permit? do you think is it better to go to the dutch embasssy in lisbon and tell my situation?
