Just got married. Ready to file paperwork. Questions

Post by darena » Wed Dec 21, 2005 6:33 pm

Hello Everybody!!
I just got married and trying to submit all my paperwork. And I have a lot of questions!!!
I have been in United States for 2,5 years. I got here on J-1 work and travel program, then adjusted my status to j-1 Trainee (I don't belong to the group of people which have to leave the country) and now I am on tourist visa which is going to expire in a month. Only first 3 months of my being here I worked with work authorization. The rest of the time I have been working without it, just giving my employers my SSN (they never ask for any work authorization papers here, in SC)
And looking at all these forms I get confused.
Here are my questions:

1. I-130. question # 15. Name and address of present employer(if any)
I am working, even if I am not supposed to. What do I have to write?? the Truth?? Or just Put N/A???

2.I ve been married before, I got divorced in Russia several years ago. The only divorce notice I have is in my Russian passport. Marriage seal , and divorce seal. Is it going to be enough???

3.I would like to go home next summer. I was wondering if I still can do that ( I have been working without any permission plus I am going to be out status in a month) Is the any sense do apply for i-131????

4. DO I have to send the whole packet of documents to Immigration Services at once???? Or there is a sence to hold on some of them??

5. G-325a. Applican's employment for the last five years.
I am not going to be deported if I tell the Truth , right???

You will make me happy if you help me with you answers.
Thanks a lot

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!
