WOULD AN ITALIAN SCHENGEN VISITOR'S VISA HOLDER BE ALLOWED TO APPLY FOR FRENCH RESIDENCE CARD IN FRANCE AS A SPOUSE OF EU CITIZEN MOVING TO SETTLE IN FRANCE TOGETHER OR MUST I GET ANOTHER VISA FROM FRENCH EMBASSY? Please i want to be clear about this.

Please stop making multiple threads for the same question and your answer is no you don't need a new visa or the easy thing is at the port of entry just present your wife's passport,your passport and your marriage certificate and they will issue you a temp visa there and explain you what to do next..I hope it help and make sure that you are traveling with your spouse..

They will do nothing. You go to the local Prefecture de Police and ask for a Residence Card.
Aiming at travelling to the UK with my wife and not with an EEA FP!
