Retained Rights But Big Problem

Post by nana46 » Fri Jan 08, 2010 10:19 pm

Hi All,
First of all I will like to say thanks to everyone on the forum that is helping.
Now, I am a divorced non eea whom was married to an eea in 2003.Just after I had my rsidence card, A lady told me she has a baby for me after an affair. I accepted responsibility for the child and took the child to care for myself in my home since my then ex wife agreed. Now the problem is that in april 2006, I applied for child benefit and child tax credit which I informed them I was married but my ex was not on the claim since the child was not hers and also since she was living in essex due to her work and comes home ocassionally. Now that I am divorced and wants to apply for a retain rights of residence, will the above claims affect my application ...............I'll appreciate all help
Thanks alot
