Residing in Germany and working in France

Post by raj.puvvada » Sun Jan 10, 2010 9:05 am

hello friends,
I am a non EU citizen presently residing in Germany and would be receiving a permanent residentship (Niederlassung in German) for Germany in another 3 to 4 months. A French employer has offered me a wonderful job beginning in the month of June 2010. I would like to know :

1) Can I with a permanent residentship (PR) in Germany work in France without workpermit.

2) If no : i read in immigration rules to France that a work permit is always associated with a residence permit in France. Do I need to forego my German PR if apply for work permit in France?

3) Can i register and live in Germany and simultaneously work in France?

Just some details about me :
According to the French immigration authorities, there are three main pre-requisites for a work permit application
(a) My prospective salary : well above 3600 euros per month
(b) Education : Masters' + 4 years of experience in Germany
(c) Cadre : Managerial level.

I tried to be as precise as possible and request all of you for help.

Any inputs would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
RP
