Notarisation query

Query for people with successful approvals. For notarisation of passport copies (out-of-country applications), does one need to get notarisation done on affixed revenue stamps or just ink stamps can do.

I have got ink stamps with signatures and 'Valid out of country' stamp. But someone tells me that in some cases one needs to get a special stamp on a revenue stamp also. Can someone help please. I am applying from India.
