Hello,

My new Employer had given me the copy of approved Immigration employment document. I have few queries, if you could resolve it for me. Till now, with my previous employer on extension of WP I have always received below three:-
1>Approved Immigration Employment Document
2> Actual Work Permit, containing length of validity of WP
3>Passport containing Stamping of Visa

Recently, I have decide to change my employment & my new employer has just received Approved Immigration Employment Document, I am wondering how I will be getting remaining two things as mentioned above. Please can you guide me accordingly?

Also Approved Immigration Employment Document mention that I can start working with new employer, but also it say approval of Immigration Employment Document doesn’t guarantee success of “FLR“ ,so it is advisable to fist get FLR then doing leaving formalities with current employer , or considering I have been in country since 3 years & no criminal offences, can I assume that I would be granted FLR ?

Also, normally how much time it takes to get FLR approval through post ?

And time frame for getting appointment for Croydon (PEO) ?

Hello

You now need to apply for further leave to remain (FLR) using FLR IED. Since it is not HSMP FLR so you can apply for extention in croydon as well though the fees for that would be 500 pounds. From my experience (I also changed employers on workpermit) FLR is usually a pretty straight forward procedure. In my case, I started to work for the new employer and then I send my passport for FLR via postal application.

If you go for a personal application in croydon, they should be able to sort out your FLR on the same day. My guess for postal application would be some where around three to four weeks, though you can start working with you new employer while FLR formalities are sort out.

Hello!

Your IED should state how long it is valid for (at least mine did!) I think it states the number of months.

Also getting the FLR is now a seperate process, I think this came in early last year, at least when I did my FLR extension it was June 2004. It is something you can do yourself.

There would have to be exceptional circumstances for them not to give you FLR, for example if they find something on the application to be untrue if the IED was obtained under false pretences.

Not sure what the time frame for appointments at Croydon is though.

2>.Also,When i spoke to PEO @ Croydon ,they have informed me that ,it's a pre requite for me to get
<A> Immigration Employement Doc
<B> Actual work permit ,before applying for application @ PEO ,Croydon.

Please help me out to get more clarity on this subject.

1>.Also,just wanna confirm , if my current LTR is valid till Sep 06 & if i want to apply for new FLR ,with new employer on WP Transfer,so as such PEO Croydon,will be okay right ?
I got confused ,as on HO site they mentioned,u can only apply for FLR,before 28 days of expriy of LTR ?

2>.Is there any checklist avilable ,which could be used for FLR @ PEO at Croydon.

Greetings.

Would really appreciate if someone could reply to below queries on WP transfer case ASAP,as i have got appointment at Croydon PEO day after tommorow.

My Questions :-
1>Point 29 - Your WP Reference number
My Query:-
As my new employer had applied for WP transfer ,so only document which they have Received id Approval document, so as such i don't have any WP Reference ?
So shall i put old WP reference number ?
or leave it blank ?

2>.Point 33/38 ,asking details about
"When does your leave expire"
"Net pay"
My Query:-Do i have to use current(old) WP details here or what ?
Or new WP Details ? {As such i haven't recevied new WP expiry date,it's valid for 24 months from stamping }


Please let me know about ASAP.

Hi,

Thanks to all for all assistance.
I got my FLR stamped.
It was quite simple processing but time consuming.
I reached 45 min before appointment time .
It took approx. 3 hours for complete processing.
