NewBie to HSMP (TIER 1)

Post by jilpangs » Sun Jan 17, 2010 2:12 pm

Hi,

I'm new and this is my first post here to seek some help in applying for HSMP.

I'm currently in UK - having Workpermit, working for a bank and would like to apply for TIER1 visa.

1) Is there a site which guides to fill in the application form + supporting document + fees etc..? I see all information available scatered and sometime having conflicting info. So i'm confused.

2) My wife and kid are in india. Can i include dependent applications along with my main application OR should i apply for them seperately stating they are outside UK?

3) Regarding Fees, i saw a note in homeoffice website "£400 if you submit a valid HSMP approval letter with your application ".
What is this HSMP approval letter?

Can someone please respond to each of my query? Thanks for your time and inputs.

Cheers
Jil

All relevant information regarding Tier 1 General (eligibility, forms, policy guidance, application process etc.) is available on UKBA Website.

Since your dependents are outside UK, they will need to apply for entry clearance (EC) from home country.
Check UKVisas website for Forms, guidance and other relevant information regarding dependent EC applications from overseas.

The HSMP scheme is closed (since 29 June 2008).
