mother name different on my passport

Hi my mother name and surname is different on passport.now i wanted to call her to Austrailia on a visit visa as i m pregnant and need to take care of.what should i do?do i change her name on her passport to match from mine or just attach a letter saying that.please suggest something its very urgernt.
