ILR Requirement

Post by oc2pus » Tue Jan 19, 2010 10:45 pm

Hi Guys,

Currently, I am on HSMP. I have already sent my case for Tier-1 Extension. It was really hard work to fulfill earning requirements in the last two years however I barely fulfill.

Just curious to know about ILR requirements. Do I need to fulfill earning requirements (claim certain points) for ILR after 3 years.

Your response would highly be appreciated.

Thank you.

There's no minimum earnings requirement for ILR. Being economically active in the 5 years leading to ILR is sufficient.

The OP has raised the query because he is perhaps, and understandably so, worried about his ability to qualify for ILR if he is required to fulfil any earning requirements at that stage. The information I have provided is in response to the OP's query and correct to the best of my knowledge (245E(c)). If you believe the information is incorrect please feel free to provide the correct answer.

But spare us the philosophy! Not everyone might be as lucky or fortunate as you are!! Don't take me wrong .... but your responses appear (at least to me) to be ridiculing the OP because he's been honest enough to state in a public forum that he just barely meets the earnings criteria!!

Dear Mehta,

I really appreciate your response. You are right I am worried about the ILR requirements. Due to market situation (Less jobs and high competition) it is really hard to get highly paid job.

Very nice comments my friend , never mind

i have touched the core question burning in mind of all our present ti- applicants,

what next if i have suceedede now , what next new laws r expected

i have expressed my view idirectly that , we have to keep running till we reach ILR goal , no slow down after extn , because we have been clearly told that they can change rule as they like ,

so applicant have to maintain earning and not to give a chance that we r not meeting treshold .

this form is a free to express views may be postive or negaive, any way ,

congrat for extn
