How long it will take to get Sponsorship certificate

How long it will take to get Sponsorship certificate

My company applied for Sponsorship certificate on October 1st week. People came for verification on December mid and they said it will take another 4 week to process the report. So 2 weeks Christmas holiday + 4 week processing period will make us wait upto January end to get the company sponsorship certificate. Normally how long it will take to process sponsorship certificate? Whether this delay happened due to christmas holidays?
