Crucial situation pls help

Post by Dasavathar » Wed Jan 20, 2010 11:02 pm

Hi All,

I am now in my post sutdy work visa, valid unil 15th March 2010. After a very long request, my employer is now agreed to go for sponsorship licence. my employer is a local authority/public body (City Council).

My employer is going to apply for the licence only on coming Monday 25th Jan. Will my employer be able to get the licence and certificate of sponsorship in 45 days?

Is it advisable for me to wait for the licence and Certifiate of sponsorship to be issued before my expiry of visa?

Please help.

You must make the Tier 2 application before your Tier 1 (PSW) leave runs out.

Since the application form asks for the Certificate of Sponsorship reference number, I am assuming that, one cannot submit an application without having received it.
