The Worldbridge website says

"When to submit your application

You can start the visa application process up to 3 months in advance of your planned travel date. The UK Border agency advises you to start the visa application process at least 5-10 weeks prior to your planned travel date."

I already put in my online application three days ago but my appointment isn't until April and my travel date isn't until June.

What should I do?
New application (and lose my appointment time)?

What sort of visa are you applying for? If a spouse visa, then in practice the dates you mention will not cause a problem.

You can always change your appointment date online, without necessarily cancelling the whole application!
Just log in with your unique reference number, and look out for cancellations, in order to change the date.

buttercup88, OK a spouse visa. But I like the idea from Rozen ... just adjust the date of the appointment until a couple of months before the intended travel date.
