Domestic Travel and Living allowance - Whether allowable?

Post by hsmp_aspi » Fri Jan 29, 2010 5:57 am

Hi friends,

I am back with my queries.....forgive my ignorance....

I am posted at a different city than my original place of posting. Hence, my company provides me a monthly allowance for the same. This allowance if reflected in the pay slips. Though my appointment letter does not specifically mention the amount of allowance as it differs from city to city, yet the organisational policy document lists the amount of the allowances.

My question is whether I can show this allowance as a part of my previous earnings?

Any help on this would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
