PSW to Tier 2

Hi All,

I am currently in PSW visa and working as an accountant in a company which is willing to sponser me under Tier 2 General.

Is it possible to apply as an accounts manager under tier 2 or the job profile is not eligible to apply under Tier 2.

1. Yes you can see the following link.
2. U will also need to make sure that the job gets paid at the appropriate rate which is currently £11.64 for up to 48 hours per week only.
3. U will have to make sure that u calculate u prospective earnings according to the above.

I am ready to go for the application. Does my employer need to advertise about this job eventhough I am working with them for the last 6 months?

What is SOC?

We are showing future earnings as 25k. Is this suffiecient?

I hav armed roughly 11.5k within last 6 months. Does this affect the application becoz it's less than 25k?

1. If u r switching from PSW then the job does not need to be advertised.
2. As long as the earnings are according to CODE OF PRACTICE LSIT then u shud be fine as wen u employer issue the COS then it will be confirmed on it.
3. COS i think u r getting mixed up with COS which means CERTIFICATE OF SPONSORSHIP.
4. No previous earnings does not count only the future earnings are used for points.

After getting the Visa what will happen if I am made redundant or Sacked by my employer or my employer is taken out of the Tier 2 list.

Is there time limit that i have to be sponsored by some other company, changing my visa to a dependant or student or switching back to PSW (my PSW visa expires in April 2011 only)

Will I be asked to leave the country if I lose my job. Is there any guidance from UKBA regarding this point.
